welcome to Yenko-Wildfire's Custom Classic Cars Garage

When resto-mod work began at the Yenko-Wildfire Garage 54 years ago, some felt vintage cars were being ruined. Today, such procedures are becoming common and popularity of resto-mods is rapidly spreading among auto collectors.

Yenko-Wildfire staff began offering resto-mod options even before the phrase was coined by Craig Jackson, president of the Arizona-based collector car auction company of Barrett-Jackson.

Our garage recently created the 1957 Yenko-Wildfire Commemorative Corvette, which demonstrates a prime example of resto-mod restoration.

Staff here calls this car an F-16 with a license plate. It is undoubtedly the most beautiful ’57 ‘vette ever built! Taken out of storage after 38 years, the body was meticulously refreshed to a much better than new state. Corners, gussets, joints and panels have been reinforced with steel and glassed over to make the body better than a new ‘vette. Our goal at Yenko-Wildfire was to blend "state-of-the-art" with true "automotive art."

Features of this vehicle include:
  • One of only 143 new LS7 505 hp engines built for non-assembly line use.
  • Original 1957 Corvette body with both soft top and hardtop.
  • Chassis #5 of 12 from the chassis guru himself, Art Morrison.
  • GPS, DVD, air conditioning, electric/hydraulic doors and hood.
  • Ostrich leather and much, much, much more!
  • Reinforced rear fender flares of 3.5" unique to this car alone.
  • Tremec TKO 5-speed and Strange Engineering rear housing.
  • Over $15,000 in chroming polishing and powdercoating.
  • C5 Suspension with oversize Wilwood Brakes.
  • Paint and body by renowned artists Bobby Wiles and Chad Woodard.
  • Build by Ridler Award guru Archie Carlini.
  • Over 3,300 hours in the build.
  • Over $325,000 invested and a market-weighted appraisal of $325,750.
This car has it all-from its 50-year track record to the ultimate combination of value, features and state-of-the art components.

The vehicle comes with a 1-year/unlimited mileage warranty. We would like to take it to our shop for perfecting, then deliver it FREE to anywhere in the world.

Making resto-mod choices is simple. Pick a car, pick a modern engine, add a 2007 chassis, handling and the latest technology out there. You end up with a magnificent blending of "true automotive art and state-of-the-art."
